Effectiveness of greenhouse gases

For the more technically minded, I posted an article on my blog on why different greenhouse gases have different effects, e.g., methane is molecule for molecule a more powerful warmer than carbon dioxiode. Short answer to that one: there is very little methane comparatively speaking; were there a similar amount of methane and carbon dioxide, adding methane would actually have a lower warming effect.
